Working in indigenous communities we understand the value of ancient sites that have ties to current cultural preservation and traditional use. We fund restoring and repairing history that is often considered Sacred by the communities and people we serve.

This is an ongoing Project for our Cultural Exchange & Protection Program.

How many people will this project support?

This project will affect up to 1,500 directly and up to 15,000 people  indirectly both today as well as future generations.

The Issue

Sacred sites, to Indigenous people, are like churches from ancient times. We are supporting the restoration and repair of these important sites. Safety for the people that enter the building, and protection of the items housed there are our main priorities of this project.

The Solution

The tribe would like to restore their entire ancient village. Once buildings are made structurally sound, maintenance will become much easier and the safety of sacred items will be ensured.

Potential Long Term Impact

The ancient culture of traditional people that is thousands of years old will be protected. Enabling their ceremonies and way of life to be protected and continue through culture, ceremonies, language and way of life.

Volunteers Needed

Due to the sensitive cultural and sacred nature of this project, it will be supported in part by volunteers who are responsible for the care and protection of this sacred space within the culture itself.

Currently the need is $35,000 USD for several projects in urgent need of repair. This total will change as requests for support are received.
