Technology for Community Liaisons

Our Technology Program supports community leaders and liaisons with things like cell phones and laptops.

Receiving a cell phone can transform lives and communities. Having a way to communicate with others is essential to building  projects that can often changes lives.

This program enables lower income and indigenous communities to build economic growth by providing them with the hardware and technology necessary to operate in a technological world.

How we’ve helped thus far…

We supplied a phone to Christiana in the informal settlement of Okahandja in Namibia. She used her phone to grow donor commitments to feed the impoverished. Learn more about Christiana and Mercy Say Yes school »

We provided a phone to community leader Isaiah in a Maasai community. He used his phone to work with The Great Gathering Nonprofit to build the water project for five Maasai communities. We provided a laptop for the Maasai Mbili Art Collective in Kibera Kenya, M2. The laptop has helped document artwork by the artists, and plan art exhibitions.
