In 2019 The Great Gathering Nonprofit was visiting the country to meet with an Elder from the Gukuyu people. We were fortunate to have been directed to a contact from Maasai Mbili Art Collective, also known as M2, to be our guide in the country.
This group of artists are not only talented, they are also great humanitarians. They do outreach work with youth and adults alike to teach them art as a way to keep them away from gang life.
